TERRI’S DAY – A Celebration of the Culture of Life

We are compiling comments and statements from key leaders, people of faith, entertainers, families, and people young and old alike who understand how one day set aside every year with Terri Schiavo’s name attached to it will help to underscore the need to recognize and celebrate a Culture of Life.

As Terri’s life and death galvanized our country to see how a Death Culture that condones the starvation and dehydration of a human being because she is no longer the same as she was previously or one that minimalizes the life of the disabled or aborts a child because the baby would be an inconvenience to a busy lifestyle or even how elderly people are considered expendable when they become less vibrant or able to care for themselves, we see example after example every day of why we must stand up for a Culture of Life – the right to live.

Would you be willing to take a moment to express your thoughts about what might have happened in your life that cemented your beliefs about a Culture of Life or why you believe we must stand for what’s right? A day designated to celebrate our right as Americans to fortify our own culture to be able to practice what our founding fathers called “our God-given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” is a path we must take.
